Naseeruddin Shah as Ser Davos Seaworth
The Onion Knight, otherwise known as Ser Davos Seaworth is an interesting, if not unique character in the entire 'Game Of Thrones' series. Davos acts almost as a proxy for the audience, finding himself shocked, annoyed and overwhelmed with the on-screen story most of the time, just like us. He says, thinks and acts upon things that we're all thinking.
Davos' wit and experience make him a man weary with everything happening around him, almost going through the motions out of a need to survive, than any own personal emotional investment. His loyalty drives him, while he acknowledges his limitations freely as well. This makes him a great supporting character, especially now that he has unexpectedly become such a close confidante to Jon Snow.
There is no one better in Bollywood to follow Liam Cunningham's dry wit, than Naseeruddin Shah.
Shah has the same look and vibe of Davos, as a weathered old Knight who has seen it all and is rarely surprised by anything. While his dramatic acting chops are beyond question, Shah's put in many hilarious performances as well, in movies like 'Finding Fanny' and 'The Dirty Picture'. And continuing the similarities, like Cunningham, Shah is also a theatre trained actor.
