These 8 Stars Are Perfect Action Heroes For A Bollywood Version Of ‘The Expendables’

The only true off screen action hero of Bollywood has to be Akshay Kumar. Untrained as an actor an with no connections or ties in the industry,  Kumar made his mark simply due to his comprehensive Martial Arts training that he achieved prior to becoming an actor. Being a multiple degree black belt and completely following the disciplinary philosophy of Martial Arts, Kumar was the only action hero in Bollywood who didn't require a body double most of the time, as he did most of his own stunts. Kumar was considered such an action star, that he's the first, and only Bollywood actor to have starred in his own franchise of action films in the 'Khiladi' series.

Kumar would make an amazing addition to a Bollywood 'Expendables' given his own action hero status. He could easily play the role of Jason Statham's in the original. Statham himself is also a true stuntman, so the paralells make obvious sense. The dynamic between an older Dutt & a younger Kumar would also be a great reflection of the one shared by Stallone and Statham.
