Sanjay Dutt in Sylvester Stallone's role
The original 'Khalnayak', Sanjay Dutt was one of the first Bollywood leading men to sculpt a physique that appropriately matched the unrealistic action sequences that was the highlight of the masala movie. With his long hair and tall frame, not to mention being a second generation actor, Dutt became known for macho-friendly action movies. Although in his day, action was pretty much an aspect of every genre.
Dutt has made a career of playing gangsters in most of his films like 'Vaastav', so much so that he even spoofed himself in a comedy as a reformed gangster in the 'Munnabhai' franchise. Even off-screen Dutt is considered quite a bad-ass, having formed India's first Mixed Martial Arts league back in 2012. So obviously Dutt needs to be included in a Bollywood 'Expendables'.
Sanjay Dutt's established image in Bollywood makes him the perfect candidate to play the role of leader of the group, as essayed by Sylvester Stallone in the original.
