Sonu Sood to spread awareness about skin banks

With several Bollywood celebrities contributing to number of social causes like animal welfare, women empowerment, development of draught-affected areas, there are others who have been spreading awareness and also helping in the treatment of many ailments like cancer and organ donation. And now, Sonu Sood in a unique move of sorts has decided to extend his support towards skin donation.

Increasing number of accidents as well as acid attack victims, which often lead to distorted skin conditions prompted Sonu Sood to take up this cause and work towards increasing the number of skin banks across the country. From what we hear, the actor is all set to travel to different cities and visit remote places to educate them about the concept of skin banks and its benefits. He feels that this is the need of the hour and several small towns, rural areas still remain unaware about skin donation.

Last seen in Bollywood in Happy New Year, Sonu Sood recently wrapped up the much talked about Indo-Chinese film with Jackie Chan titled Kung Fu Yoga.
