Shah Rukh Khans Fan to see staggered release in select overseas markets

Shah Rukh Khans latest release Fan that is directed by Maneesh Sharma hit screens last week on Friday, the film which despite positive reviews from critics opened to mixed response from the audience. However, Fan has managed to hold its own at the box office. Simultaneously, Fan that was released in certain territories overseas has been doing brisk business with the makers of the film raking in the moolah. Now we hear that the makers of Fan have decided to feature a staggered released of the film in other overseas territories that were left out.

According to the plan the staggered release will be in three phases with Phase 1 seeing the release of Fan in markets like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Poland and Spain, Phase 2 will feature the markets of Morocco Egypt Caribbean Islands and Peru, while Phase 3 will focus on the markets in China, Japan, Turkey, Vietnam and Korea. .

While this staggered release will obviously be fruitful, the makers of Fan have the added advantage of understanding the markets better and streamlining the process of release to maximise profits with a staggered release.
