Scoop: Shah Rukhs Raees postponed, Wont take on Salmans Sultan

The potentially catastrophic clash between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan this Eid has been finally averted.

As expected Shah Rukh Khan has blinked first. Or rather, his producer Ritesh Sidhwani who has postponed the release of Raees by a few weeks.According to a very reliable source, "Shah Rukhs Raees is not clashing with Salmans Sultan after all. In fact after what the clash of Shah Rukhs Dilwale with Sanjay Leela Bhansalis Bajirao Mastani did to the former, Shah Rukh was opposed to the Eid clash. It was producer Ritesh Sidhwani who insisted they wont budge."

Better sense has now prevailed. Raees is postponed by at least two weeks. Buzz is that the Shah Rukh starrer will now take on either Sajid Nadiadwalas Dishoom (featuring John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandes) on July 29 or Ashutosh Gowarikers Mohenjo Daro with Hrithik Roshan in the lead on 12th August."

Says the source, "Raees has moved out of what is traditionally Salmans release date (Eid). It will take on something that is as comparable for competition at the boxoffice like Dishoom or Mohenjo Daro."
