“No screening of Ki & Ka at Kareena Kapoors home, please” – Balki

A hysterically-upbeat report in sections of the press on Tuesday claimed that Kareena Kapoor, the stunning diva who plays the lead in the upcoming rom-com Ki & Ka organized a special screening of the film for her friends at her home on Monday night.

The films director R Balki nearly fell off his chair when he heard of his leading ladys stolen pleasures. "The screening of Ki & Ka was so special that even Kareena doesnt know about it. Seriously the film is not even ready yet. We are still working on the sound design and mixing. How could the film be screened for Kareenas friends, and that too at her home?! Id love her to watch our film asap, though. But as of now, no one has seen the film, not even me."

Apparently Balki and the films producers have decided to place an embargo on all activities connected with Ki & Ka until the release of Kapoor & Sons.

Says a source, "Kapoor & Sons is a very big film and with a multi-star lineup in the cast its expected to perform phenomenally in the big cities. Ki & Ka too is aimed at a more metropolitan audience. The films producers Eros International & Balki have decided there should be no clash of interest between the two films. Both Balki and his wife filmmaker Gauri Shinde are very close to Kapoor & Sons producer Karan Johar. They therefore suspended all promotional and marketing activities related to Ki & Ka until the weekend of the release of Kapoor & Sons."
