Karan Johar reveals about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharmas characters in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

The teaser of the highly awaited Ae Dil Hai Mushkil came out on Tuesday and is already getting all kinds of attention from fans and film industry.

Without giving away too much, the teaser starts with Ranbir Kapoor crooning to the title track as the story focuses on friendships, heartbreaks, and one-sided love. While we dont get to know what the characters are or what the story is about, Karan Johar recently spilled the beans on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharmas characters.

Karan Johar revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchans is a kind of role she has never played before. She plays a poet who is not very good at her art and does not receive the kind of respect other poets get in their community. Meanwhile, Anushka Sharmas plays a strong woman who comes from a dysfunctional family. Lastly, Karan Johar added that both the characters are strong and complex.

Directed by Karan Johar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is set to hit the theatres this Diwali on October 28.
