Is Ranveer Singh the brand face of Indian arm of NBA?

Bollywood actors have always been enthusiastic about sports, so when we saw Ranveer Singh promoting his love for basketball in 2016 we probably didn t give it a second look. But now it seems that this has made him the face of NBA s India arm.

Readers may recall that in February last year, Ranveer Singh had reportedly attended his first NBA match and now it seems he has surpassed the other actors in becoming a poster boy for the Indian NBA. But what has left the fans of the game even more surprised is the existence of an Indian arm of NBA.

On the other hand, according to recent reports, Ranveer Singh posed for the North American National Football Association gratis for free and this further added fuel to the speculation that this is more of Ranveer s attempt to garner global publicity. Considering the bevy of stars who are shifting towards Hollywood, Ranveer, we hear has opted for a different strategy altogether for acquiring global fame.

On the film front, we all know about the extensive prep that the actor is undergoing for his favourite director Sanjay Leela Bhansali s forthcoming grand epic drama Padmavati. Besides that, Ranveer will also be seen as the protagonist, a rapper in Zoya Akhtar s Gully Boy.
