Farhan Akhtar and Kriti Sanon starrer Lucknow Central to go on floors in September

Earlier, we had reported that Farhan Akhtar and Kriti Sanon were coming together for an upcoming crime-drama titled Lucknow Central. We have now learned that Lucknow Central is all set to go on the floors in the month of September. The film is said to be inspired by true events and will have music as a backdrop. The plot will follow the lives of a few jail inmates who try to rediscover their passion for music by forming a band within the jail surroundings.

Kriti Sanon will be seen playing a NGO worker. The film is produced by Nikhil Advani and marks the directorial debut of Nikhils assistant, Ranjit Tiwari.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon recently wrapped the shooting of her romance drama Raabta in Mauritius. On the other hand, Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for Rock On 2.
