Baadshaho postponed, wont clash with Raees and Kaabil

A while back, the media went into a tizzy with Shah Rukh Khan and Riteish Sidhwani announcing the release date of their film Raees as January 26, 2017. Incidentally the date was already occupied by yet another big ticket Bollywood release Kaabil that is directed by Sanjay Gupta starring Hrithik Roshan. Adding another spoke to the wheel was the Ajay Devgn starrer Baadshaho, produced by Bhushan Kumars T-Series that was scheduled to hit screens on the same date.

But now we hear that Bhushan Kumar has in fact postponed the release of Baadshaho. Apparently this decision was reached after both Riteish Sidhwani and Rakesh Roshan approached Kumar to delay the release of his production. Commenting on the postponement of the film, producer Bhushan Kumar says, "Yes its true that Rakesh Roshanji & Ritesh Sidhwani called me to request if we could shift the date of release of Baadshaho. Given our long standing relationship, I accepted their request".

With this Baadshaho that stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jamwal, Ileana Dcruz and Esha Gupta is slated to hit the screens on May 12.
