With the mango blooming season that has approached the country, farmers from Nagpur decided to present a special gift to Mallika Sherawat. A particular variety of this fruit is now named after the actress. Reportedly, the actress is thrilled about the same. From what we hear, the farmers give this honour to Bollywood celebrities every year. Besides her, yet another actress who got mangoes named after her this year is Madhuri Dixit.

On the other hand, Mallika Sherawat is currently in Paris, enjoying her time with beau Cyrille Auxenfans. Prior to this, the actress also became one of the few stars who got milkshake named after her, joining the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kim Kardashian.

The actress is also involved in many social causes including the campaign against child trafficking. She continues to retain her connection with Bollywood and even tweeted out a condolence message after the demise of legendary actor Vinod Khanna.
