The Cast Of A Bollywood Adaptation Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ – Season 7 Edition

Almost always appearing side by side with Cersei is her brother / lover / illegitimately low key, but also known to everyone, baby daddy, Jaime Lannister. Jaime is an enigma in the entire 'Game Of Thrones' Series thus far. While he started out as a side villain, an almost henchman-like character to the more evil Tywin Lannister and others, against Robert Baratheon, he's evolved into something else entirely. And it's baffling to try to figure out what.

Jaime's arc is interesting, if not slightly unsatisfying. He's gone through the perfectly chiseled and arrogant douchebag character phase that we loved to hate. But then he was so abruptly brought back down from his high horse, (both literally and metaphorically) that audiences ended up sympathizing with him. Later on, he was almost poised to make a full turn into a more heroic presence on the series. But that turn is something that audiences have been waiting on for a few seasons now.

In Season 7, though his internal conflict between good and bad remain, he's still Cersei's errand boy, impotent in power and physical stature (one-handed) while we're all  waiting for him to stop being such a douche.

And the perfect Bollywood actor to personify all those qualities that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau portrays to beautifully, and have the depth to take the character through all those arcs, has to be none other than Hrithik Roshan himself.

Roshan looks very similar to Season 1 Jaime, with his chiseled jawbone and Greek good good looks. He can play the arrogant asshole very well as we saw in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', but also the tortured and conflicted hero, as in many of his other films such as 'Mission Kashmir' and 'Guzaarish'.

Roshan can effortless portray a character audiences can love to hate, and want redemption for, all at the same time. And his chemistry with Karishma Kapoor would be unique and never before seen in Bollywood before.
