Recently, there have had been many rumors about Sony TV not ready to extend its contract with Kapil Sharma in lieu of his much talked about fight with Sunil Grover. Due to this, besides the popularity and the show s TRPs plummeting big time, it was also being said that the channel was planning to bring the show to an end by not renewing the contract with Kapil Sharma.

The latest update on the status of The Kapil Sharma Show is that, the channel s senior officials have decided to extend the show by around a month. But, this month will be extremely crucial for Kapil Sharma, who will be observed very minutely on the parameters like his punctuality, high handedness, one upmanship and other like factors. As per sources, the channel s officials will be observing Kapil Sharma s behaviour not just one the sets, but also off it.

Even though there has been no official confirmation about the same, sources say that the channel s scrutiny has already started on Kapil Sharma. And Kapil Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to put up a good boy behaviour. Testimony to the same was in the form of the latest episode which featured Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana. Unlike his trademarked unpunctuality, Kapil Sharma was not just on time for the shoot, but also mingled with almost every person from the unit (including spotboys and make up persons) and even obliged many for a selfie.
