The new kid on the block Athiya Shetty, who made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan Productions titled Hero, is all set to begin her second film Mubarakan. The film stars Arjun Kapoor in the lead and the actress has begun her shooting.
An ecstatic Athiya Shetty took to her twitter account to share the news and wrote, “Officially my first day on #Mubarakan today so excited!” The Mumbai schedule for the film has gone on floors today. The first schedule was kick started in Chandigarh in the end of 2016.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan will feature Arjun Kapoor in a double role as Charan and Karan and is about a destination wedding. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Neha Sharma and Ileana D’Cruz and is scheduled to release on July 28, 2017.
