Shah Rukh Khan in Anand L. Rais next?

Anand L. Rai, who had last directed the R. Madhavan - Kangna Ranaut starrer Tanu Weds Manu: Returns is now all set to direct Shah Rukh Khan in his next, if the grapevine is to be believed. While everyone is tight-lipped about this project, Shah Rukh Khan recently dropped a hint during a video chat with his fans stating that they (himself and Anand L. Rai) almost had a final discussion and that he is hopeful that they will be doing a film together.

Rumour has it that Rais directorial venture was apparently being produced by Eros International, but Rai has since signed on Shah Rukh Khans Red Chillies to produce the film. However when contacted, Eros spokesperson clarified stating, "Aanand L. Rais production company Colour Yellow is an Eros International company and all films produced under Colour Yellow by default will be in association with Eros." Further talking about Rais next venture, the spokesperson adds, "Mr. Rai is not doing any project outside Eros. We had in fact officially announced a few days back the said project will be released by Eros & Colour Yellow during Christmas 2017."

Simultaneously, if the grapevine is to be believed, then, the lead actress who will be paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan is none other than Deepika Padukone.
