“Asia is the future” – Kangna Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut at the launch of Femina cover, that features her alongside sister Rangoli, made some interesting points about the future of the business of cinema. The actress feels that it will be Asia that will generate the maximum earnings for films in the days to come and that India will play a crucial part. Moreover, she also feels that Asian actors getting prominent roles in the Western films and television shows is also an indication that the world is looking at East with lot of seriousness.

Says Kangana, "As far as the theatre business is concerned in the world, I did a screenwriting course in the US post the release of Queen. In the Business Of Cinema lecture, we were taught how Asia is going to ascend to No 1 place and China is almost there. I am not talking about digital platforms. When you talk of theatre business, we are where Hollywood was 10 years back. So before theatre business comes to an end, we are going to have a blast in India. Asia is the future. So, youll see a lot more Asian actors in American television or cinema because everyone knows that India is the future."
