When Dia Mirzas Iranian co-star told her no touching

Readers may recall that Bollywood Hungama had reported about the doe eyed Dia Mirza to feature in first Indo- Iranian film titled Salaam Mumbai. Even though the film stars the handsome Iranian actor Reza Golzar, Dia Mirza felt something has been unfair about the film.

Well, before you jump to conclusions, heres the reason. Salaam Mumbai will be releasing in Iran and hence the film has a no touching policy between the lead actors. Thats why Dia Mirza, jokingly told him that, it was totally unfair that he was so good looking, but, had put a mandate on touching. Reza, on his own admission said that there was no touching in the film since they were releasing it in an Islamic country. He added that, despite that, they had pushed the boundaries of filmmaking.

Dia Mirza said that the 42 year old Reza, who plays as many as 10 musical instruments, was completely in awe of the freedom that the Indians enjoyed. She added that living without censorship was an eye-opener for him.
