Abhimanyu Singh to play the antagonist in the Sridevi starrer Mom

Though English Vinglish was the comeback venture of Sridevi, the actress who could juggle with her shoot schedules in multiple languages at the same time, hasnt been doing a lot on screen of late. Last seen in the bilingual Puli, Sridevi is now gearing up for her hubby and producer Boney Kapoors next titled Mom. Yet another name added to the star cast is that of Abhimanyu Singh.

Having done prominent roles in films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Gulaal, Abhimanyu will now play the antagonist in Mom. Revealing that this has been dream role offered to him, the actor also shared his excitement of sharing screen space with the actress who has been his favourite ever since his college days. Mom has Sridevi playing the role of a step mother along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an important role. Rumour also has it that Akshara Haasan is playing Sridevis 18 year old daughter in the film.

Mom that also stars Akshaye Khanna has gone on floor in Georgia in East Europe. However, the plot details of the film are still being kept under wraps.
