Shoojit Sircars next to be on freedom movement

Bringing a bold story on women empowerment based on real life incidents, Shoojit Sircar is excited about the release of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink. While he gears up for the promotions of the same, Shoojit also has plans chalked out for his forthcoming releases.

In a recent interview, filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, whilst revealing details of his upcoming films, mentioned that his next will be about freedom movement. The director-producer, almost a year ago, had announced his ambitious project 1911 based on football but it seems that the film has been put on hold. Denying rumours that there have been issues with John Abraham, Shoojit added that though their collaboration for films is intact but his ambitious film on football can only be made if there is appropriate script and casting. Hence, Shoojit further assured that as of now, he wants to concentrate on Pink and the untitled next on freedom movement.

While the casting details for this untitled film are yet to be finalized, it is slated to go on floor by March - April next year.
