Richa Chaddha
Richa Chaddha can be seen as a more household name among the others on this list. Chaddha was first noticed with Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', and since then has gone on to have an amazing and varied career. Appearing in both commercial and indie ventures, Chaddha has been able to walk the fine line of mainstream and arthouse films.
She is another actress that has immense screen presence, and is incredibly disarming with her performances, while also intensely powerful when required. She can light up a screen by emoting through eyes alone, much less any dialogue.
Chaddha has thus far been only appearing in films playing the supporting actress or minor roles such as the ones in films like 'Main Aur Charles' and 'Sarbjit'. 'Masaan' is probably the only exception to this, and also her biggest critical success.
Richa Chaddha would have been a wonderful choice for 'Haseena Parkar', and the perfect example of casting an already established and recognizable face, in a more leading role.
